After 30 years in real estate, there are three elements of Elma Bachman’s impressive career that are rigidly set in stone. First, she is one of the area’s hardest working – and most humble – Associates. Next, there isn’t anyone in the business who is more knowledgeable about the process of building custom homes. And finally, she is most passionate about a successful end-result for her clients and customers.
Elma began her real estate career in Illinois in 1980, but relocated with her family to Arizona in 1985. In the early years of her Fountain Hills career, she represented her husband, Ray’s, company, RH Bachman Homes, but also distinguished herself by listing and selling residential properties for a growing number of clients.
She quickly became known for a very detailed expertise in representing clients seeking custom homes and home sites. As one of Fountain Hills’ leading Realtors since 1985, she has helped over 600 custom home clients, a record that is unequaled.
As a full time, full service agent, Elma’s goal is always 100% client satisfaction. Elma’s business creed of “All About Results” perfectly describes her views about her relationships with her clients. In pursuit of that goal, she has a full-time assistant, Pam Ehrlich, who helps Elma to manage the details of the client transaction. For her work in residential sales and marketing, Elma was nominated, and was a finalist in the Business Journals “Superstars of Residential Real Estate”.
On the home front, Elma is enjoying the roles of wife and mother but most especially grandmother to her busy family. Husband Ray is a pilot with an aerial mapping company. Her 8 year old grandson, Brockton, who is the love of Elma’s life, “Keeps me young, constantly fascinates me, and very much on my toes,” laughs Elma. Amid their busy schedules, Ray and Elma enjoy hiking, skiing and trips to San Diego when time allows.
Elma and Pam are committed to the hard work that excellence requires, but you’ll have to really push Elma to mention the numerous sales awards and accolades that have come her way over the decades. She holds the distinguished, “Graduate Realtor Institute” designation conferred by the National Association of Realtors. She is also fluent in Spanish and finds plenty of opportunity to assist multi-lingual clients.
“After 30 years in real estate, I’m thrilled that I still look forward to each day with anticipation. I love meeting new people, helping them discover their new home and following through until my clients are comfortably settled … and beyond.”
